The RG570L is a left-handed RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1992. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen and was sold only in the US market.
The RG570L features a basswood body with a one-piece quartersawn maple neck attached with a tilt joint with a metal plate. The Wizard neck has a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. It has Ibanez V1 and V2 humbucking pickups flanking an Ibanez S1 single-coil which are mounted to the body with pickup rings. The bridge is the newly introduced Lo-Pro Edge. Other components include a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
The RG570 is a right-handed version. The RG550L is a similar model with a pickguard; the RG550L also generally has a maple fretboard, though some were produced with rosewood.
The RG570L was discontinued after just one year, but another RG570L was offered in 2002 and the similar RG1570L was available after that.
