RG525 Gun Metallic (more images)

The RG525 is a Roadstar II series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1986. The Roadstar II series would eventually become known as the RG series.

The RG525 has the rounded-edge body style and swoopy, rounded headstock of the older Roadstar II style.

The RG525 features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Components include dual Ibanez IBZ humbucking pickups with individual volume controls and Duo-Sound coil-split functionality and an Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut.

The RG530 is a similar model with a flame maple top.

The RG525 was discontinued after just one year in production.
