The RG520 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1998. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen.

The RG520 features a basswood body bolted to a maple and bubinga Wizard neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include an Edge double locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut and dual Ibanez Vintage humbucking pickups.

The RG520FS and RG520QS are similar models with, respectively, flamed sapele and quilted sapele tops. The RG570 is a similar model with an additional middle single coil pickup.

The RG520 was sold only in the USA market and discontinued after a single year in production.
