The RG5121L is an RG series solid body electric guitar model re-introduced by Ibanez in late 2024. It is made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high-end Prestige line. An earlier version in a different finish was offered previously as a spot model in Japan.
The RG5121L features an African mahogany body with white binding bolted to a maple and wenge neck with a Macassar ebony fingerboard with 24 stainless steel frets, white binding, offset mother of pearl dot position markers and Luminlay side dots. Components include a pair of Fishman Fluence Modern humbucking pickups with ceramic magnets, a Gibraltar Standard II fixed bridge, and Gotoh tuning machines.
For 2025 the bridge was changed to Gibraltar Standard III.
