RG502BE Marine Sunburst[1] Red copyright sprite

The RG502BE is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1998. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen.

The RG502BE features a birdseye maple top on a basswood body bolted to a maple Wizard II neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include an Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut, a pair of Ibanez Vintage humbucking pickups mounted in pickup rings and Gotoh tuning machines.

The RG503BE is a similar model with a middle pickup. The RG502FX is a related model with a fixed bridge and without the exotic top. The RG507 is a related model without the exotic top and with a middle pickup.

The RG502BE was discontinued after 1998.
