The RG470MHZ is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2011. It was also referred to as the RG470MH; the Z suffix was ignored for some models in promotional material, particularly in the USA. It was made in Indonesia.
The RG470MHZ features a mahogany body bolted to a maple Wizard III neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and sharktooth position markers. Components include Ibanez Infinity pickups with a pair of humbuckers mounted in pickup rings flanking a single-coil and an Edge Zero II double locking tremolo bridge with a removable ZPS3Fe tuning stabilizer.
The RG470AHZ is a similar model with an ash body.
The RG470MHZ was discontinued after 2012.
