RG470L Black

The RG470L is a left-handed RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1993. The RG470L essentially replaced the RG570L. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen.

The RG470L went through several iterations throughout the years. This first model was produced in Japan and shared many similarities to the RG570L. Both models used the same Ibanez Vintage pickups, basswood body, rosewood fingerboard and locking nut. Differences from the RG570L included an Edge tremolo bridge (rather than the RG570L's Lo-Pro Edge), a bulkier standard neck joint and a square jack plate.

In 1994 production of the RG470L was moved to Korea and several changes were introduced to the new model, including new pickups, bridge and neck.
