For the earlier version with the Edge III tremolo, see RG470AH.
RG470AHZ Natural Flat
The RG470AHZ is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2011. It was also referred to as the RG470AH; the Z suffix was ignored for some models in promotional material, particularly in the USA market. It replaced the RG470AH and was made in Indonesia.
The primary new feature of the RG470AHZ was the newly introduced Edge Zero II tremolo which has a removable "zero point system" tuning stabilizer. It has an ash body bolted to a maple Wizard III neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and sharktooth position markers. Rounding out the package are Ibanez Infinity pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil.
The RG470MHZ is a similar model with a mahogany body. The RG471AH is a variant with a fixed bridge.
