The RG470AHM is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2017. It is produced in Indonesia.
The RG470AHM features an ash body bolted to a maple Wizard III neck with a 24-fret maple fingerboard with black dot position markers. Components include a standard double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and Ibanez Quantum pickups with dual humbuckers mounted in pickup rings flanking a single-coil.
The RG470MB is a similar model with a mahogany body and black hardware. The RG470MSP is a similar model with a meranti body.
The RG470AHM is available only in the US market; the RG370AHMZ is a similar model with an Edge Zero II tremolo which is sold outside the USA.
This version of the RG470AHM was replaced for 2024 with a new version that adopts the Edge Zero II tremolo and resembles the RG370AHMZ.
