The RG450 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1994. It is the second model known as the RG450 after the 1992–1993 model it replaced.
The previous RG450 was made in Japan and was an intended to be a more affordable alternative to the RG550 with a few modifications. The RG450 introduced in 1994 was a Korean-made model. With the production moving to Korea several changes were made, including a new set of pickups, a different tremolo and the neck profile. Like all RG models, the Korean RG450 also got the sleeker All Access Neck Joint. A notable new feature was the maple fingerboard instead of rosewood.
The RG450 was discontinued after 1995, but several similar models were introduced afterwards like the RG450LTD in 2001 and RG450GX in 2004. A third model known as the RG450 had a short production run in 2009.
