The RG450 is a Roadstar II series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1986. The Roadstar II series would eventually become known as the RG series.

The RG450 is one of only a few RG models produced with a 22-fret neck. It has the rounded-edge body style and swoopy, rounded headstock of the older Roadstar II body.

The RG450 features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret fingerboard with dot inlays. Components include pickguard-mounted Ibanez pickups with two humbuckers flanking a single coil pickup and an Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut.

The RG440 is a similar model with a single-coil replacing the humbucker at the neck.

This RG450 was discontinued after just a single year. The RG450 model name has been applied to several other models since.
