The RG450DXB is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2015. It replaced another model with the same name, but with significant changes. It was produced in Indonesia.
The RG450DXB features a mahogany body bolted to a one-piece maple Wizard III neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and sharktooth position markers. Components include Ibanez Quantum pickups, a standard double locking tremolo bridge and a locking nut.
For 2018 the rosewood fretboard was replaced with jatoba. For 2019 the mahogany body was replaced with meranti.
The RG450DXBL is a left-handed version. The RG450DX is a similar model with cosmo black hardware and a black finish. The RG450EXB is a very similar spot model with different finishes and a black pickguard which was introduced in 2019 as an exclusive for Guitar Center and Musician's Friend.
This version of the RG450DXB was replaced for 2024 with a new model with the same name which has an Edge Zero II bridge.
