The RG450DXB is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2013. It was produced in Indonesia.
The RG450DXB features a basswood body bolted to a three-piece maple Wizard III neck with a 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with sharktooth position markers. Components include Ibanez Infinity pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil, an Edge Zero II double locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut, and die-cast tuning machines.
From 2013, the Edge Zero II no longer includes the ZPS3 zero-point system on non-Prestige models. It is replaced by a conventional 3 springs and claw setup.
The RG450DXBL is a left-handed version. Similar models are the RG450DX with cosmo black hardware and a black finish and the RG470DXB with no pickguard.
This model was replaced for 2015 with a new model with the same name, but with significant changes.
