The RG440V is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2013. It was made in Indonesia.
The RG440V features a basswood body bolted to a maple Wizard III neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and white dot position markers. The most noteworthy features of the guitar are the SynchoniZR ball-bearing pivot synchronized tremolo bridge and the HSS pickup configuration neither of which is commonly found in RG series guitars. The Ibanez Axis pickups are mounted in a white pearloid pickguard with a humbucker at the bridge and single-coils in the neck and middle positions.
The RG460VFM is a similar model with a flamed maple top, no pickguard and different pickups.
The RG440V was discontinued after 2014
