The RG421 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2002. It was made in Japan by FujiGen.

The RG421 features a basswood body bolted to a thin Wizard II maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and white dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Vintage humbucking pickups mounted in pickup rings, a GTC Jr. fixed bridge, and die-cast tuning machines.

The RG421 was discontinued after 2002.
