The RG421PB is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2024. It is produced in Indonesia, replacing an earlier version which has pickup rings and a different output jack.
The RG421PB features a poplar burl top on a meranti body bolted to a maple Wizard III neck with a 24-fret jatoba fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include an F106 fixed bridge, a pair of direct-mounted Ibanez Quantum humbucking pickups, a plastic nut, and Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.
The RG421QM is a similar model with a quilted maplt top. The RG421 is a version without the exotic top. The RG7421PB is a seven string version.
