The RG3EXFM1 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2008. It was produced in Indonesia and was a spot model which was sold exclusively by the American retail chains Guitar Center and Musician's Friend. It essentially replaced the RG3EX1, which is similar but has a quilted top and "Designed by EMG" pickups.

The RG3EXFM1 features a flamed maple top with binding on a basswood body bolted to a maple Wizard II neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and sharktooth position markers. Components include dual, covered Ibanez Vintage humbucking pickups and a standard hard-tail bridge.

The sharktooth inlays on the fretboard are a heritage mark of the RG models, having been used by Ibanez since the inception of the RG in the late '80s. The RG3EXFM1 was available in two finishes: Blackberry (a reddish color despite the name) and Transparent Gray Burst.

The RG3EXKA1 is a similar model with a koa top.

The RG3EXFM1 was discontinued after 2011.
