The RG3520Z is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2008. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The RG3520Z is a regular production model based on the 2007 limited edition RG20071 model. New features are the Edge Zero double locking tremolo bridge with removable ZPS tuning stabilizer and centered rather than off-set inlays. Other features include a flamed maple top on a mahogany body bolted to a maple and walnut Wizard neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard. Components include a pair of DiMarzio IBZ humbucking pickups. The most visually interesting feature of this model is the abalone decorative strip which runs down the center of the body.
The RG3420 is a related spot model with sharktooth position markers and different components.
The RG3520Z was available only in 2008 and replaced for 2009 by the RG3620Z.
