The RG350DXZ is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2011. It replaced the RG350DX. In the USA, it was still known as the RG350DX, since the Z suffix is ignored for some models in promotional material. It was produced in Indonesia.
The RG350DXZ features a basswood body bolted to a maple Wizard III neck with a 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with sharktooth position markers. Components include an Edge Zero II double locking tremolo bridge with a removable tuning stabilizer and Ibanez pickups with two humbuckers flanking a single-coil.
A major update in 2015 introduced a mahogany body, a one-piece neck, new pickups and new finishes. For 2018 the rosewood fretboard was replaced with jatoba. For 2019 the mahogany body was replaced with meranti.
The RG350DXZL is a left-handed version. The RG350ZB is a similar model with white dot inlays and a black pickguard. The RG351DX is a related model with a fixed bridge. The RGV250 is a related spot model with a non-locking tremolo.
The RG350DXZ was discontinued after 2023. It was essentially replaced for 2024 by the similar RG450DXB.
