The RG340Z is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2011. It was a spot model which was produced in small numbers and was sold only in Japan.
The RG340Z features a basswood body with binding bolted to a maple Wizard II neck with a 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include pickguard-mounted Ibanez Axis pickups with a humbucker at the bridge and single-coils in the neck and middle positions and an Edge Zero II double locking tremolo bridge with a removable ZPS3Fe tuning stabilizer.
