The RG3250MZ is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2011. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The RG3250MZ features a basswood body bolted to a titanium reinforced maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret maple fretboard with binding. Components include DiMarzio pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil, an Edge Zero double locking tremolo bridge with a removable ZPS tuning stabilizer and Gotoh tuning machines. In 2011 the RG3250MZ had wedge sharktooth fretboard position markers, but these were changed to black dots in 2012.
The RG3550MZ is a similar model with only a few visual differences, including the matching finished headstock for the RG3250MZ.
