The RG2EX2 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2005. It was sold exclusively by the American retail chain Guitar Center.

The RG2EX2 features a bound basswood body bolted to a maple Wizard II neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include dual humbucking pickups and a standard hard-tail bridge. It discontinued in 2007 but was reintroduced in 2010 with a new set of pickups.

The RG2EX1 is a similar model with a in different colors. A similar tremolo-equipped model was available in Japan as the IRG2.
