RG2820ZD Tri Fade Burst

The RG2820ZD is an RG series solid body electric guitar model offered by Ibanez in 2012. It was available as part of a Limited Edition series and was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.

The RG2820ZD features an alder body with ivory binding bolted to a maple and walnut Wizard neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include dual Seymour Duncan humbucking pickups with 5-way selector, an Edge Zero tremolo bridge with a removable zero-point tuning stabilizer, a locking nut, Sure Grip knobs and Gotoh tuning machines.

The RG2820ZD has a Tri-Fade Burst finish which makes it visually somewhat similar to the PGM401. It was offered only in 2012 and as few as fifteen examples were produced.[1]
