The RG2727FZA is a seven-string RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2015. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The RG2727FZA features a flamed maple top on a mahogany body bolted to a maple and wenge Wizard HP-7 neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include dual DiMarzio PAF 7 humbucking pickups, an Edge Zero-7 double locking tremolo bridge with a removable ZPS tuning stabilizer and Gotoh tuning machines.
This model replacee the RG2727FZ which is similar except for using different pickups. The RG2527ZA is a similar model with a plain top.
The RG2727FZA was discontinued after 2017.
