The RG2720FM is an RG series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez for 2004. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high end Prestige series.

The RG2720FM features a mahogany body with a flame maple top bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with off-set dot position markers. Components include a pair of DiMarzio/IBZ humbucking pickups, an Edge Pro double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.

The RG2770FM is a similar model which adds a middle pickup.

The RG2720FM was offered only in 2004.
