The RG2720FM is an RG series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez for 2004 . It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high end Prestige series .
The RG2720FM features a mahogany body with a flame maple top bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with off-set dot position markers. Components include a pair of DiMarzio/IBZ humbucking pickups , an Edge Pro double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
The RG2770FM is a similar model which adds a middle pickup.
The RG2720FM was offered only in 2004.
