The RG2717FX is a seven-string RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2013. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The RG2717FX features a mahogany body bolted to a maple and wenge Wizard-7 neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with wedge sharktooth position markers. Components include a single Dimarzio PAF7 humbucking pickup, a Tight-End R fixed bridge and Gotoh tuning machines.
The RG2717FX was available only in Japan and was discontinued after 2014.
