The RG270R is an RG series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 1996. This model replaced the very similar RG270.

The RG270R features an American basswood or basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers. Components include a single locking tremolo bridge and Ibanez Powersound pickups.

The RG270 is a similar model with a maple fretboard. The RG270DX is a similar model with sharktooth position markers.
