The RG2620QM is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2003. It is made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The RG2620QM features a quilted maple top on a mahogany body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include dual DiMarzio IBZ humbucking pickups, an Edge Pro double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
Instead of the standard 5-way lever, the RG2620QM has a 3-way toggle switch for pickup selection. It is among only a small handful of RG models with this type of control configuration which is similar to that favored by John Petrucci on his JPM100 signature model.
The RG2820CT is a related model with a curly maple top and Tree of Life fretboard inlays. The SRG2520 is a similar spot model with a 5-way lever pickup selector.
The RG2620QM was discontinued after 2004.
