The RG2570Z is an RG series solid body guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2008. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Prestige line.
It is the successor of the RG2570E with an Edge Zero tremolo instead of an Edge Pro. Other features are a basswood body, DiMarzio IBZ pickups, a bound rosewood fingerboard with wedge sharktooth inlays. In 2010 three new finishes were introduced along with the new Wizard HP neck profile.
A similar guitar model with a maple fingerboard is the RG2570MZ. The RG2570Z was discontinued after 2014, and essentially replaced by the RG2570ZA which is similar except for the pickups and the fingerboard details.
