The RG2550ZA is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2015. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The RG2550ZA features a basswood body bolted to a maple and walnut Wizard HP neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with small white dot position markers. Components include DiMarzio pickups with two humbuckers flanking a single-coil,an Edge Zero double locking tremolo bridge with a removable ZPS tuning stabilizer and Gotoh tuning machines.
The RG2550MZA is a virtual twin to this model, except that it has a maple fingerboard with black inlays.
The RG2550ZA was discontinued after 2017.
