The RG2540ZEX is an RG series Prestige solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2013. Features include an ash body, a Wizard HP neck and a rosewood fretboard. Other features include DiMarzio/IBZ pickups and the Edge Zero tremolo.

The RG2540ZEX was discontinued after 2014, being replaced by the RG2540ZEXA which is similar but has different pickups.
