The RG2540ZEX is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2013. It is part of the Japanese handcrafted Prestige line.
The RG2540ZEX features an ash body, a Wizard HP neck and a rosewood fretboard. Other features include DiMarzio/IBZ pickups and an Edge Zero tremolo bridge.
The RG2540ZEX was discontinued after 2014, being replaced by the RG2540ZEXA which is similar but has different pickups.
