The RG2527ZA is a seven-string RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2015. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Prestige line.
The RG2527ZA features a basswood body bolted to a maple and wenge neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include dual DiMarzio PAF 7 humbucking pickups, an Edge Zero-7 double locking tremolo bridge with a removable ZPS tuning stabilizer and Gotoh tuning machines.
This RG2727FZA which was also introduced in 2015 is very similar except that it has a flamed maple top. The RG2570ZA is a similar six-string model.
The RG2527ZA was discontinued after 2017.
