The RG220 is an RG series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 1998. It was produced by Cort in South Korea.

The RG220 features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers. Components include a single locking tremolo bridge and dual Ibanez Powersound humbucking pickups.

The RG270 is a similar model with a middle single coil pickup.

The RG220 was discontinued after 1999, but a similar RG220B with black hardware continued to be produced.
