The RG20061, also known as the RGT220A CAH, is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2006. It was made in Japan by FujiGen.
The RG20061 were produced for the 2006 Winter NAMM Show along with the RG20062, RG20063 and RG20064, which were the "puzzle top" guitars. The story told about the RG20061 is that the chocolatey brown color was achieved by roasting the wood, but they were actually stained brown.
The RG20061 features a neck through body construction with ash body wings attached to a maple and wenge neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with small abalone dot position markers. Components include a pair of Dimarzio IBZ humbucking pickups, an Edge Pro double locking tremolo bridge and Gotoh tuning machines.
The RGT220A is a similar regular production model without the dark finish. Only 153 examples of the RG20061 were produced.
