The RG1822 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1998. It is made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high end J Custom line.

The RG1822 features an alder body with a 4mm thick AAA quilted maple top bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and offset dot position markers. Components include dual DiMarzio humbucking pickups, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut an Gotoh tuning machines.

The RG1802 is a similar model but with a flamed maple top, mahogany body, different neck pickup and black hardware.

The RG1822 was produced through 1999.
