RG170 can refer to several distinct solid body electric guitar models produced by Ibanez.
These models all have several features in common: RG-style super-strat body, pickups in an HSH configurations (two humbucking pickups surrounding a single coil), a tremolo bridge and no pickguard. Beyond that, there are several differences between the various models, although all are relatively affordable entry-level guitars.

- RG170 (1997–2002), maple fretboard & Powersound pickups, sold in US market, produced in Korea & Indonesia
- RG170 (1999–2001, Japan), rosewood fretboard, produced and sold in Japan
