The RG1560M is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2009. It was a spot model which never appeared in any catalog. It was made in Japan by Fujigen as part of the upscale Prestige line.

The RG1560M is the successor of the RG560 model which was discontinued after 1992. It is the first RG model since the RG560 with a humbucker/ single/ single pickup configuration.

The RG1560M features a basswood body bolted to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret maple fingerboard with small dot position markers. Components include direct-mounted Ibanez pickups, an Edge Pro double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.

The RG1560M was discontinued after 2010. Production numbers are unknown, but not many of these seem to have been produced as it is somewhat rare to encounter them on the secondary market.
