The RG1550MV is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2013. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Prestige line.
The RG1550MV is unusual among RG series guitars for having a non-locking synchronized tremolo; most RG models have either a Floyd Rose type double locking tremolo or a fixed bridge.
The RG1550MV features an alder body bolted to a maple and walnut Wizard HP neck with a 24-fret maple fingerboard with black dot position markers. Components include Ibanez Vintage pickups mounted in a pickguard with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil, a SynchroniZR tremolo bridge with integrated ZPS-FX tuning stabilizer, a Graph Tech Black TUSQ nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
