The RG1527M is a seven-string RG series Prestige solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2009. It was produced in Japan.

The RG1527M features a maple fingerboard instead of the more commonly used rosewood like on the RG1527. Other features include a basswood body, Ibanez pickups and an Edge Pro tremolo bridge.

The RG1527M was introduced for the USA only, but was offered as a 2009 Limited Edition model in other parts of the world. In late 2009 Ibanez started production on a similar model with an Edge Zero tremolo bridge, the RG1527MZ. However, the RG1527M continued on in the US market through 2010.
