The RG1508 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1996. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high end J Custom range.
The RG1508 features a mahogany body with a flame maple top bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with offset dot position markers. Components include DiMarzio pickups with two humbuckers flanking a single-coil, a Lo-Pro Edgedouble locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
The RG1508 was offered for only one year, been essencially replaced for the RG1608.
