The RG1502S is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1998. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale J Custom line. It was a spot model which never appeared in a catalog.
The RG1502S features a flamed maple top on a mahogany body bolted to a laminated maple neck with a dark rosewood fingerboard with offset abalone dot position markers. Components include a pair of DiMarzio humbucking pickups with an Air Norton at the neck and an SFP at the bridge, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge and Gotoh tuning machines.
