The RG1470 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2012. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high-end Prestige line. It was a spot model which never appeared in a catalog.
The RG1470 features a basswood body bolted to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include an Edge Pro double locking tremolo bridge and Ibanez pickups with a pair of V6F humbuckers flanking an RTS single-coil. Unlike most Prestige models which have a barrel jack which is secured internally, the RG1450 has an externally mounted output jack with a square plate.
