The RG1421F is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2010. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Prestige line.
The RG1421F features a basswood body with a flamed maple top bolted to a maple and walnut Wizard Prestige neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with small dot position markers. Components include dual Ibanez humbucking pickups and the Tight-End hard-tail bridge. Unlike most Prestige models which have a barrel jack which is secured internally, the RG1421F has an externally mounted output jack with a square plate.
The RG1421F was released as a limited edition to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Prestige line. The RG1420F, which is a similar model with a tremolo bridge, was the other tenth anniversary model. Just 120 examples in each finish were produced.
There exist few pieces of the model in third colour DBB (purple burst). They were NAMM demo models, like this one seen at ibanezrules. They never made it into serial production.
