The RG1302 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1996. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high end J Custom range.
The RG1302 features a light ash body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with offset dot position inlays. Components include dual DiMarzio humbucking pickups, a Lo-Pro Edgedouble locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
For 1998, the RG1302 was redesignated as a Prestige model and received different pickups and other minor tweaks.
The RG1308 is a similar model which adds a single coil pickup between the two humbuckers. The IRG1302G is another similar model with different pickups and gold hardware. The KRG1602 is a related model with a mahogany body and flamed maple top.
