The RG1077XL is a seven string baritone RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2001. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.

The most notable feature of the RG1077XL is the 27" baritone scale neck that allows it to be tuned to a lower range and/or use a higher string gauge. The DiMarzio RG-7 pickups, also known as "Custom 7" or just simply "DiMarzio 7" pickups, were specially made for Ibanez. Other features include a basswood body, a Lo Pro Edge 7 double locking tremolo bridge and a rosewood fingerboard with binding and an abalone dot inlay.

The RG970XL is a related six-string model.

In 2003, the RG2077XL was introduced as a replacement for the RG1077XL, featuring the new Edge Pro tremolo.
