The RG-STAR is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1997. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high end J Custom line.
The "RG-STAR" is a One-off model ( Based on a RG570 )
The "RG-STAR" features a mahogany body with hand painted stars in brown/silver matte finish on the top of the body, back and headstock, bolted into a three-piece maple Wizard neck, a Rosewood fingerboard with abalone offset dot position markers and 24 jumbo frets. The guitar comes with chrome plated hardware, a pair of DiMarzio pickups humbuckers in the neck & bridge position, a single coil DiMarzio pickup in the middle, a Lo-Pro-Edge tremolo & Gotoh machine heads.
