The RD905FM is a five string Roadgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2005. It was produced in South Korea as part of the Standard line and sold only in Europe.
The RD905FM features mahogany body with flamed maple top on mahogany body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot position markers and black side dots. Components include a pair of Seymour Duncan / Ibanez Basslines™ pickups connected to a EQB-IID 2-Band preamp EQ with bypass switch, medium frets, a solid brass B405 bridge with 18mm string spacing, a plastic nut. Jin Ho locking tuning machines and chrome hardware.
The RD900FM is a similar four string model. The RD905AH is a related model with ligh ash body. The RD505 and RD500 are related five and four string models with quilted maple top on basswood body.
