The RC520 is a solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2017. It is part of the retro-inspired Roadcore series. It was made in Indonesia.
The RC520 features a mahogany body with front and rear binding bolted to a gloss finished maple neck with 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Core Tone humbucking pickups with a coil-split switch on the tone control, a Tight Tune TOM-style fixed bridge with through-body string routing, a TUSQ nut, Ibanez die-cast tuning machines and gold Sure Grip III control knobs.
For 2018 the rosewood fretboard was replaced with jatoba.
The RC520 was discontinued after 2018 along with the rest of the Roadcore lineup.
