2016 RC2720 DCR
RC2720 Dark Cherry Red copyright sprite

The RC2720 is a Roadcore series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2015. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Prestige line. There was also a version sold as the RC2720PR; it is unclear if there were actually any differences in the two versions.

The RC2720 features an alder body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with block position markers. Components include a fixed bridge, bone nut and Gotoh locking tuning machines. It has Seymour Duncan P-Rails pickups which combine a Hot Rails coil with a Vintage P90 soapbar into a single humbucker-sized pickup. A special rotary switch allows the player to activate either the Hot Rails or Vintage P90 or both together to offer a wide variety of tones.

The RC2720 was discontinued after 2017.
